Kyle “K$” Sawtelle grew up playing disc golf in Clearwater Florida. He and his father discovered the sport in 2004 at Cliff Stephens Park and have been hooked ever since. Clearwater has always been a hot bed of talent in the disc golf world and Kyle had the privilege of learning from and competing with some of best players in the state and world, including Ken Climo, Johne McCray, Bryan Moore, Calvin Heimburg, Billy Seaman and Terry Murphy.
Kyle now lives in Aspen, Colorado and spends most of his free time - when he’s not playing disc golf - snowboarding or white water paddle boarding. Kyle’s goals for disc golf are to establish a cashing streak, to achieve a 1000+ rating, to win a B tier or above, and most of all to be a great ambassador for both the Discmania brand and the sport of disc golf as a whole.
