On the heels of a very successful 2018 season, Discmania has agreed to a new contract with Eagle McMahon. The new agreement keeps McMahon has a key member of Team Discmania through 2020.
“I am very happy to continue my relationship with Discmania,” McMahon says. “They have shown me amazing and sustained support throughout my professional career. I believe we can reach new heights with our visions and strong relationship. I could not be happier to have the support from such a great company.”
This new contract is a great way to cap off 2018 which saw McMahon win three PDGA National Tour events en route to winning the entire 2018 National Tour Elite Series. In addition to the three first place finishes, McMahon claimed a fifth place and third place finish in the other two National Tour tournaments.
Soaring Together
While there is little doubt McMahon had a season to remember, we feel he still has more left in the tank.
Discmania CEO Jussi Meresmaa believes this partnership is very beneficial to both sides, “We’ve believed in Eagle ever since we first met. We’re excited to have one of the most promising disc golfers with us and feel Discmania suits him really well: we are soaring together. Eagle is just getting started and we’re here to help him reach his potential.”
It seems like just yesterday when McMahon burst onto the scene at the Glass Blown Open. It wasn’t until McMahon was a household name within the disc golf community. Each and every day McMahon is improving as a disc golfer and we are doing all we can to ensure he has the tools he needs.
“I’ve known Eagle for just under a decade,” Discmania Team Manager Austin Montgomery says. “I’ve had the pleasure of watching him grow into one of the best disc golfers in the world. We're extremely lucky to have him as a part of Team Discmania. We cannot wait to see where Eagle’s career will take him in the future and we’re thankful to be a part of it all.”
The future is here!
