Lizotte wins Belgian Open, leads EuroTour

Team Discmania's young German talent Simon Lizotte proved himself once again victorious last weekend at Belgian Open. The tournament was held on the course of "Le parc Bourdon" in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium and it was already the 9th leg of the PDGA EuroTour, with just 2 events remaining in this year's tour schedule. Simon eventually won the tournament by 1 stroke, but the final nine was essentially a technicality for the young German, as after the 3 tournament rounds he was already leading the rest of the field by 7 strokes.

By taking home the victory at Belgium, Simon also moved to the lead at EuroTour points standings. Simon snatched the lead from US touring Pro and a fellow Team Discmania member Avery Jenkins, who's summer tour of Europe consisted of two wins, one 2nd and one 4th place on the most competitive tour on Europe. The current EuroTour standings have not been updated at the time of writing this article, but can be found here.
