A limited batch of Special Edition Horizon S-line DD1's up for grabs!
The very first release of the Horizon DD1 came in late 2022 as a featured product on our Mystery Boxes and ended up being one of our most sold discs 2023. We know there’s many Horizon DD1 throwers out there, so creating this new Special Edition run was a no-brainer. This run also features some pretty sweet colorways that haven’t been seen on the Horizon DD1 before. The supply is however fairly limited, so make sure to pick yours up early.
Flight-wise these DD1's are a touch more overstable than their Mystery Box (Stratosphere Edition) counterparts, but in turn, these are not as overstable as the initial (2023) stock run of the S-line DD1. Essentially these DD1's offer the best of both worlds between the 2 aforementioned releases, fitting snugly in between in terms of stability.
Cited to be DD3’s little brother, the DD1 features a less overstable and more narrow flight path compared to our most popular distance driver, the DD3. That being said, it’s worth noting that that given the wide array of releases made with both the DD1 and especially the DD3, there certainly is some DD3's out there that are less overstable than some of the DD1's and vice versa. In general terms however, the DD1 is slight step down from the DD3 in terms of power required for it to move as intended.
The DD1 is famous for its straight and accurate flight, making it a great tool in the woods. Players will fall in love with the DD1 feel and profile, plus a smaller rim compared to DD3 gives you that extra confidence when facing the tight fairway and nice dome gives you the optimal amount of glide to still get big distance.
The DD1 is a great choice to build your distance game as its high glide, narrow flight path, and comfortable grip ensures it’s the one disc you’ll reach for over and over again.
