DISCMANIA TACTIC BECOMES THE DISCMANIA P4
Last year we teased a move of Evolution molds over to the Originals line, the Tactic being one of the molds up for a promotion. Check out the full video below for thoughts on this move from Discmania Brand Director, Austin Montgomery.
For those wanting a “too long didn’t watch” recap - we want to keep our Evolution Line and Originals Line more distinct with clear vision who each line is for. Evolution Line will be for players looking to start their game, or improve their skills at a foundational level in pursuit of higher level play.
With that in mind, we feel the Tactic fits much better in our Originals Line vision. Originals Line discs are built for the advanced to professional level player seeking the tools to perform and win.
Disc golf fans have seen the Tactic appear in Team Discmania touring pro’s bags since its first release. With its high torque resistance and consistent overstability, this mold shines best wielded by the best in the game.
For these reasons, we are proud to present this mold as the newest entry to the Discmania Originals lineup under the P4 name.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TACTIC AND P4?
With this change, the Tactic mold will stay exactly the same as it was just now under the P4 name. The biggest difference will be the plastic options the P4 will come in.
Our Originals plastic has been sourced and treated in the manufacturing process to bring the best of performance and durability. Since moving to our own manufacturing, getting our C-Line plastic to meet the standards of the best players in the world was our very first goal.
Not to mention, the very first iteration of the Tactic came in a prototype C-Line which can still be found as a very rare collectible in top players' bags. So we decided to bring that special feeling to the premier of the P4, coming in Color Glow C-Line!
