We are excited to announce the brand new Discmania Duel series of events hosted by Casey White!
Casey will bring Discmania Duel to multiple stops in the United States, as well as an international stop in Finland. This is your chance to meet the Sky Walker himself, and play in a fun rule set round and skill challenge battle!
WHAT IS DISCMANIA DUEL?
Discmania Duel brings competitive drive with a fun twist!
The event begins with a round of disc golf, but each player is armed with a Sword and a Shield - minis made special for the Discmania Duel. Players will need to be strategic, as the Sword and the Shield grant special Duel powers usable once during the round.
THE SWORD
The Sword mini grants you the ability to swap lies with a player of your choosing. Find yourself in the woods when another player parked the hole? Use your Sword to turn the tables! Or play clean, and save it for the perfect moment.
THE SHIELD
The Shield mini gives you the ability to rewind the clock, and take a second chance at executing a shot with no penalty. Golfers know this better as a mulligan, we call it protecting a clean scorecard.
SKILLS CHALLENGE
Once the round concludes, players with the best scores from each card compete in a skill challenge specially crafted by Casey. The winners of the skills challenge will be crowned Champion, and be gifted a special commemorative disc along with a stack of Shield Coins to use on the Discmania Store!
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR DISCMANIA DUEL?
The first Discmania Duel takes place in Fort Collins, CO on April 21st!
We couldn't think of a better place to start this series than the ULTRA DiscGolfPark, right in the backyard of our US Headquarters!
Your chance to register for this first Discmania Duel event starts on Friday April 11th, and registration for Discmania Duel will take place right here on Discmania.net! Registration includes entry to the event, a Discmania Duel Flex 2 D-Line P2, and set of two minis for use during the event.
