The holidays are right around the corner and we here at Discmania are in the giving mood too. We decided to award our European posterboy, Jesse Heinonen another signature disc to congratulate his solid win at Finnish Championships on early August. The Jesse Heinonen signature D-line P1 will be available mainly in the Finnish markets, perhaps somewhere around Europe too, but not in the States (sorry, guys). Jesse now has two signature discs: S-line PD and D-line P1.

As supposed, Jesse will also be one of the key members in Team Discmania in 2011. Another continuing member of the team is Juho Rantalaiho, a true frisbee-personality who works, volunteers and blogs about all things disc golf related. Juho is also a solid player with a whole bunch of top 10 finishes in European competitions from last year. And what we especially like about Juho is that he is definitely one of the best-mannered players out there. He's basically the kid you want your daughter to marry ;)

And on the no "surprises here" -corner we have one more continuing member: Jussi Meresmaa. Mr. Discmania himself spends so much time promoting the sport that he's got basically no time left to practice. In Jussi's case this isn't too bad though, taken that he was the 4th in the USDGC, 1st in Finnish Open and 5th in the Japan Open last year. And all this with only a couple of practice rounds whole summer. Jussi really knows how to make those discs do the work.

So that's it for now, next up we'll reveal some more team members (this time not Finns). The release of a new Discmania disc is just around the corner too, do you know which one? ;)
So go eat yourself sore in the spirit of the holidays and maybe catch up on those disc golf DVD:s you've got lying around. We at Discmania recommend the newest USDGC lead group live from Clash Productions. You might even spot some familiar faces ;)
