Jussi Meresmaa, the founder and CEO of Discmania, was chosen as the best growth entrepreneur in Finland in the 2021 EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition.
The annual competition, organized by the global audit and expert firm Ernst & Young, rewards entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership, and achievements.
Jussi Meresmaa, the founder of Discmania, was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year title at the Finnish EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 gala held on March 11th, 2022. With the victory, Meresmaa will be competing in the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year competition in Monaco, June.
The winner was chosen extensively by an independent jury representing Finnish business expertise, chaired by Piia-Noora Kauppi, CEO of the Finance Finland.

Discmania, founded in 2000 by Jussi Meresmaa, winner of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition, develops disc golf by delivering high-quality products and experiences to customers around the world. The company aims to make disc golf a global sport by exporting the sport to a new country every year. The Tampere-based company currently operates in both Europe and the United States.

EY´s Entrepreneur of the Year competition is the most prestigious entrepreneurship competition in the world, originating in the US in 1986. EY now includes thousands of entrepreneurs spanning more than 60 countries.
