Nikolai Heel

I started throwing discs when I was about 3 and I have been playing disc golf on the course ever since I turned 7. 

I played my first tournament at the age of 10 and it went quite well. This is when I realized that I liked playing in competitions and that I could easily handle situations under pressure.

In my second sanctioned event I had my breakthrough and played my best rated round to date, a 995 in the second round. This entailed a play-off for the overall win, which I won on the second hole. Since then I‘ve been aware that disc golf plays a vital part in my life and it didn’t take me long to decide that I  wanted to become a professional player. In the following season I won the Austrian Junior title in the MJ18, only  aged 12,  and the MJ15 title at the Konopiste Amateur Open.

It is a great honour and certainly an additional motivation for me that Discmania has picked me for their junior team,  I'm looking forward to the upcoming season and can't wait for it to start.

As Discmania has always been one of my favourite brands, I am very proud to represent them on the course.

Disc golf is such a unique sport, I so much appreciate being part of this community and I am looking forward to meeting new people and seeing new places.
