About Taylor:
I was introduced to disc golf after my coworkers and I decided to enter an intramural disc golf tournament on campus in 2014. Played very casually until 2017 where I found a group that was better than me.
My competitiveness took over and then I was hooked, playing PDGA events shortly after that. In 2019, I had aspirations to see what I could do at the Amatuer World Championships. COVID cut that short and I found myself going to an empty park and making my own lines and starting to really learn discs, especially Discmania ones. I attended the 2021 Amateur World Championships in Orlando and realized I had a bit more to learn before moving up. I won the 2021 St. Louis Open in MA1 with the new knowledge of what being regional pro was going to take. I then went back to the 2022 Amateur World Championships in Indiana and got a top 20 finish.
2023 was my first year playing full time MPO and I came away with some good rounds and high tournament finishes locally. With Discmania I hope to be able to become the regional MPO player I know I can be and compete in some great events in 2024!
