About Joe:
Joe was introduced to disc golf by his uncle in 2016 and he loved the sport instantly. He played almost daily in the summer of 2019 after a local course was installed. That year he also joined the local club where he met players who mentored him and encouraged him to compete and play in his first tournament. When courses were closed in 2020, he spent hours a day doing fieldwork, reworking his form to eliminate bad habits and emulate the top pros. After winning his first MA1 tournament in 2021, he moved up to MPO and played in the 2021 USDGC. 2022 has been his most successful year to date, winning his first MPO event and competing in the USDGC for the second consecutive year after qualifying in a playoff.
Joe is developing an app to track putting practice and compete with friends in putting challenges. He enjoys helping other players elevate their games through personal lessons and mentorship. He also has a YouTube channel where he uploads form analysis and tournament highlight videos.
He is very excited to be a part of Team Discmania and build on the momentum of 2022 together.
