About Luke:
After a lengthy 8-year career playing youth baseball at a high level, Luke started playing disc golf at the age of 13 during the offseason. During that first year, he juggled both sports until disc golf won out when he discovered how much he enjoyed the competitive tournaments. Since focusing solely on disc golf for the past two years, Luke has continuously improved his game and his love of disc golf has taken him to more than 80 courses in 12 states, including a strong showing at the inaugural US Junior Disc Golf Championships at Smugglers Notch in Vermont in 2018.
Being able to represent Team Discmania has taken his game to the next level, especially living in the disc golf mecca of Charlotte, NC. While he does have the prototypical big Discmania arm, his ability to navigate the narrow wooded fairways on his home courses should set up him for success in the future.
